Funeral services were held Friday for Mrs. Harrison Holly who died at the home of her parents, Mr. and Mrs. C.N. Brigance of Braggadocio, Wednesday after a lengthy illness. The services were held at the Vicksburg church of Christ by the pastor, Rev. Chanel French, and interment was in the Holly cemetery near the high school building. Mrs. Holly was 24 years of age.
Mrs. Holly, who before her marriage was Miss Lora Brigance, had lived with her husband in Steele until the past week, when she was removed to the home of her parents. Besides her husband she is survived by a foster son, Billie, age two, her parents, also two sisters, Margaret, at home, and Miss Eva Lou Brigance of Kalamazoo, Mich., who arrived just a few minutes before she died. Also there are six brothers, Charles of Lawrence, Mich., Ralph of Plant City, Fla., Merrell, Lawrence, William and E.P. of Braggadocio.

Mrs. Lora Brigance Holly, wife of Harrison Holly, of this city, died about eleven o'clock Wednesday night, at the home of her parents, Mr. and Mrs. C.N. Brigance, near Braggadocio. Mrs. Holly had been in ill health for about six years. She and Mr. Holly had resided in Steele until last week when she was removed to her parents home. Mrs. Holly was a Christian and because of her great suffering expressed a desire to go to her heavenly home, where there is no pain or sorrow. Her death is keenly felt by the husband, parents, brothers and sisters. She was united in marriage to Mr. Holly, about three years ago. She was 24 years of age.
The deceased is survived by the husband, a little-two-year old foster son, Billy, whom they had taken into their home, the parents, Mr. and Mrs. C.N. Brigance, two sisters, Eva Lou, of Kalamazoo, Mich. and Margaret, at home, six brothers, Charles, of Lawrence, Mich., Ralph of Plant City, Fla., Merrel, Lawrence, William and E.P. of Braggadocio, several nieces and nephews, and other relatives, together with a large circle of friends.
Funeral services will be conducted tomorrow afternoon (Friday) at the Vicksburg Church, by the pastor, Rev. Chanell French, and burial will be made in the Holly cemetery in Steele. German Undertaking Co., have charge of arrangements.
