Services for Alsey Columbus Wilson, 77, who died March 29th in Memphis, Tenn., were held March 31st at Samford Church of Christ in Holland with Bob Cowles officiating. Burial was in Mt. Zion Cemetery in Steele wth German-Aumon Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
He was born Dec. 2nd, 1901 in Brownsville, Tenn.
Survivors include his wife, Viola Scott Wilson of the home; one daughter, Rema Joyce Wilson of Hornersville; two sons, Allen Scott Wilson of Caruthersville and Kirby Daniel Wilson of Jackson; two sisters, Mattie Lee Rogers of Brownsville, Tenn., and Ellen Reece of Oklahoma City, Okla.; one brother, Pat Wilson of Alamo, Tenn.; and three grandchildren, Brandon, Meredith and Kirby Daniel Wilson Jr.
Pallbearers were Gene Gillette, William Biggs, Buddy Hampton, Gene Samford, Bert Henry and Lindell Turner.

Mrs. Viola Wilson, 81, of Hornersville, Mo., died of natural causes Saturday, June 24, 1995, at River Oaks Care Center in Steele.
Daughter of the late Albert Scott and Katie James Scott, she was born Friday, July 18, 1913, at Holland, Mo.
In Caruthersville, Mo. on October 10, 1931, she was united in marriage with Alsey Wilson, who preceded her in death.
One brother, two half-brothers, and three half-sisters also preceded her in death.
A member of the Samford (Mo.) Church of Christ, she was a homemaker.
Mrs. Wilson leaves one daughter, Rema Joyce Wilson, of Hornersville; Two sons: Allen Scott Wilson of Joplin, Mo. and Kirby Daniel Wilson of St. Louis, Mo.; A sister, Rosa Lee Woods, of Steele; and Four grandchildren.
Funeral services for Mrs. Wilson were held at 2:00 p.m. Monday, June 26, 1995, in the Samford Church of Christ at Steele with Mr. Barry Sellers officiating.
Burial was at Mt. Zion Cemetery in Steele with Bradshaw Funeral Home of Steele in charge.
