Homer Steve Wilson, 85, of Cooter, died March 26, 1993 at Methodist Hospital in Memphis. Born June 9, 1907 in Cooter, he was the son of Lillie Mae Bryant and Henry Stafford Wilson. He was a retired clerk at Cooper and Co. grocery in Cooter and was preceded in death by his wife, Mrs. Mildred Terry Wilson; his parents; a daughter, Thelma Marie Terry; and a sister, Mrs. Luna Forsythe.
He is survived by two sons, Steve Wilson of Houston and Johnny Wilson of Claremore, Okla.; And three daughters, Mrs. Lillie Lou Woodward of Memphis, Mrs. Wanda Spence of Blytheville and Mrs. Betty Hicks of Marshall, Texas.
Services were March 29, 1993 at 11 a.m. at John W. German Funeral Home Chapel in Steele, the Rev. Stephen Williams officiating, with burial in Number Eight Cemetery.
Pallbearers were Steve Plunk Sr., Gene Spence Jr., Wade Hicks, Terry Lynn Spence, Johnny Dean Wilson and Glen Joyner.

Mrs. Mildred M. Wilson, 79, of Steele, died May 8, 1988 at Mississippi County Hospital in Blytheville. Born Feb. 6, 1909 in Cooter, she was the daughter of Melvin White and Onie Wallace Terry.
She is survived by her husband, Homer Wilson of Steele; Two sons, Steve Wilson of Cibolo, Texas and Johnny Wilson of Claremore, Okla.; Three daughters, Mrs. Lillie Lou Woodward of Memphis, Mrs. Wanda Spence of Blytheville and Mrs. Betty Hicks of Marshall, Texas; One sister, Mrs. Sue Terry of Eustis, Fla.; One brother, Melvin Terry of Belchertown, Mass.; Fourteen grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a daughter, Thelma Marie Terry.
Services were May 11 at 11 a.m. at John W. German Funeral Home chapel in Steele, the Rev. David Powell and the Rev. Tim Abanathy fficiating, with burial in Number Eight Cemetery.
Pallbearers were Buck Laster, Marvin Childers, Troy Tuberville, Utah Forsythe, Dwight Pugh and W.R. McClure.
