Wheeler Jefferson Davis of Route 1, Hornersville, Mo. died June 25, 1964, in Mount Vernon, Mo.
Mr. Davis, a farmer, was born in Savannah, Tenn., in 1904. He died at the age of 59.
Funeral services were held Saturday, June 27 at 2:30 p.m. at the German Funeral Home Chapel, Rev. Paul Kirkindall and Rev. Klutts officiating. Burial was in Mount Zion Cemetery.
Mr. Davis leaves his wife, Mrs. Lucille Davis; five sons: Jimmy, James, Harold, Howard and Joe Davis; a daughter, Betty Davis and a brother, Grover Davis, of Steele.
Pallbearers were James Jones, Bill Daniels, Charles Chism, H.N. Monday, Holbert Graves, and Welson Dawson.
German Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
