Mrs. Blanche Arnold Davis, 82, of Steele, died Nov. 28, 1987 at Mississippi County Hospital in Blytheville. Born May 19, 1905 in Cottonwood Point, she was the daughter of John Bennett and Bertha Mae Laster Arnold. She was a housewife and a member of First Baptist Church in Steele.
She is survived by one son, Joe Richard Davis of Steele; One daughter, Mrs. Shirley Lack of Kennett; One brother, Jack Arnold of Seattle; Five sisters, Mrs. Hildred Mays and Mrs. Laura Belle Blewer, both of Humboldt, Tenn., Mrs. Lucille Gilliland of Flat River, Mo., Lillian Arnold of Springfield, Mo. and Mrs. Billie Jean Woody of Los Angeles; Four grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Albert Davis.
Services were Monday at 11 a.m. at German-Aumon Funeral Home chapel in Steele, the Rev. James McCrary and the Rev. Gene Edwards officiating, with burial in Mt. Zion Cemetery.
Pallbearers were Frank Crafton, Terry Bruce, Tim Madden, Howard Burns, Johnnie Carter and Harold Cooperman.

Funeral services were conducted February 15, 1978 for Albert Davis who died February 13, 1978, at Chickasawba Hospital in Blytheville. The Rev. James F. McCrary conducted the services in the Chapel of German-Aumon Funeral Home here.
Mr. Davis was born May 31, 1901, in Steele. He was a retired farmer.
He leaves his wife, Blanche Arnold Davis of the home; one son, Joe Richard Davis of Steele, and one daughter, Mrs. Shirley Lack, of Kennett.
He also leaves a brother, Leelan Davis of Collierville, Tenn.; two sisters, Daisy Fughs of Rayville, La., and Radie Riddle of Steele; and four grandchildren.
Pallbearers were Wayne Britt, John Cunningham, Vester Gossett, Buster Cecil, D.L. Potts, and Raymond Crawford
