Steele, Mo.--Mr. Don F. Johnson died at his home at Denton yesterday morning at five o'clock after a few days illness. He was fifty years of age and had lived in this county all his life, being a prominent farmer of the Denton community. He was manager and a star player of the Covington baseball team for several years.
Funeral services were conducted at the Denton Baptist church Monday afternoon by Rev. M.A. Massey, pastor of the local Methodist church, and interment was in the Mt. Zion cemetery.
He is survived by his wife, three sisters and two brothers.
