Mrs. G.M. Hicks, age 28, of Holland, died early last Thursday morning in a Blytheville hospital. Mrs. Hicks had been ill for some time and recently underwent an operation.
Funeral services were held at the Oak Ridge Methodist Church on Friday afternoon by Rev. J.H. Wagner of Cooter. Interment was made in the Number Eight Cemetery.
Mrs. Hicks is survived by her husband; three sons; two daughters, two sisters, Mrs. Willis Payne and Mrs. J.H. Pool, of Portageville, and one brother, G.W. Hutson of Portageville.
